Peaceful Gym & Studio Policies

Thank you for helping us create a peaceful gym and studio environment. Our goal is to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone. We appreciate your understanding, mindfulness, and attention to these policies:

  • Please treat fellow students and members with respect – they are your neighbors and we ask everyone to follow the same policies.
  • Do not open the facility door to anyone, even if they have a key card and it does not work. It could compromise the facility’s security for you and other members.
  • Avoid using cell phones except to stream on our WiFi w/ head phones. We prefer to have a cell phone free space so people can have a peaceful environment to escape from their day-to-day activities. Please take/make calls outside the facilities if needed.
  • Please ensure proper and acceptable hygiene measures are taken.
  • Please avoid wearing chemical perfumes or unnaturally-scented products; they may cause health effects upon others.
  • Please keep personal belongings in designated member storage areas.  We have recycling, compost and waste bins conveniently placed around our facility, so please place cups and other garbage in the appropriate bin.  When you are done using any studio and gym props please return them to their “home.”
  • Place weights back in their proper place once done.  Not everyone can lift heavier weights and they can be a trip hazard!
  • We try to offer a pleasant workout environment so we ask that all members and students please keep their conversations to a minimum and TV volume on mute with closed caption.
  • Please wear proper and appropriate attire. For the gym and small group training classes “closed toed” shoes, shirts and proper shorts/pants are required. For yoga and pilates classes bare feet or yoga specific socks are best.
  • Please do not bring food into the facility.  Make sure all drink containers can be closed with a lid to prevent spillage.
  • Please allow others to ‘work-in’ on the equipment in between your sets. If others are waiting please limit your cardio to 30 minutes.
  • Please do not drop or throw weights and please don't be forceful with the equipment, if it is not a smooth equipment function it is not meant to happen.
  • We pride ourselves on being a 'green' gym and continue to do our best to reduce waste! Please bring your own workout towel and water bottle.
  • Out of respect to your instructor and fellow students and to ensure your class space, please arrive to all scheduled classes on time. If there is a waiting list your spot will be surrendered to another participant within 5 min of class start.
  • Non-members MUST arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of class to ensure access. *Ability to join a class tardy will be at the discretion of the instructor.
  • We strive to create a supportive community within our gym and studio. We want your workout experience to be safe, effective and fun. Our staff and instructors/trainers are here to support and motivate you to reach and exceed your goals. We want you to get the most out of your visit, please let us know if there is anything we can do to better serve you!
